How Do I Dispose Of....

RECYCLE COACH IS NOW AVAILABLE: Freehold Borough is pleased to announce the “Recycle Coach” app is now available for Borough residents who wish to reduce the amount of their household waste and also become more efficient recyclers. With Recycle Coach, residents may stay organized with curbside collection & event calendars, as well as receive reminders and notices regarding service disruptions. Residents will also have access to a problem-reporting tool to notify municipal officials of any problems or concerns they may have. Click here for the press release with more information.

IMPORTANT RECYCLING REMINDERS:

1. Please do not overload the recycling cans. If you need more room, use a regular garbage can up to 30 gal. in size for the overflow.
2. Plastic bags ARE NOT PERMITTED in your recycling. Place them in with your regular household trash.
3. Recycled cardboard must be tied in bundles up to 12’ in height.

Do not place any recycling materials in any type of bag, whether it is clear plastic or paper.

The only acceptable recycling materials will be cardboard, newspaper, bottles, cans, mixed and office paper, and plastics (Code #1-2). None of these may be contaminated with food waste. No other materials will be accepted.
