  HOLIDAY CANDLELIGHT WALKING TOUR

The Freehold Borough Human Relations Committee,  together with the Unity Coalition of Greater Freehold, has invited the West Main Street parishes to participate in the "Holiday Candlelight Walking Tour" .

The walking tour was created to bring awareness to the historic houses of worship of the downtown area to Borough residents and neighboring towns in commemoration of the Borough Centennial celebration.

The tour date is Sunday, December 15th and will commence with attendees convening in front of the Hall of Records building at 4:00 p.m., with the two hour tour to begin at 4:30p.m.

At dusk the attendees will be given battery operated candles to carry with them on the West Main Street tour path.  With Mayor Nolan Higgins and Kevin Coyne's assistance, we will feature some of the historic residences on the tour as well.

As part of  the Centennial celebration,  we are inviting the community to join us in this inspirational journey through our town's past, in celebration of  the congregations' presence and contribution to the historical heritage of Freehold Borough.
